I would eat sweets like it was going out of style and I admit to drinking alcohol on the weekends. I cut fast foods completely out of my lifestyle if I need a quick meal there's a grocery store a mile apart from each other where ever I am and I can get some tuna or fruits and veggies. If I need sweets I'll have a protein shake I have a choice or strawberries and cream or chocolate milkshake. I can also resort to a fruit that's sweet. I find eating a sweet fruit although it can be high in sugar I believe natural sugars are better for the body than a rice krispy treat or a chocolate bar. I have cut out the drinking almost totally. Ill have a glass of red wine occasionally but I am avoiding beer that's high in carbs or liquor that I normally mix with a soda or juice that's high in sugars. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My next struggle with this diet is timing. My goal everyday is to have at least 5 meals per day and if I can 7. I am eating clean foods only and complex carbs. With going to school 16 credit hours a week, fitting a successful visit to the gym 6 times a week, housekeeping my apartment, and working between 20 - 35 hours a week at the restaurant I am a server at that is only open for dinner can be a challenge with finding time for eating or having the right meals. I am now pretty good at scheduling my meals but in the beginning I was failing mon &amp; wed, tues &amp; thur are usually similar in eating times then I have fri, sat, &amp; sun for free eating but I try to stay on the same timing since my body expects food intakes at certain times from the weekdays.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have heard the excuse from people I know "How can you afford to eat that many meals a day, everyday?!" Well versus eating out constantly it's not that much of a change it's actually reduced my spending I have a strict menu I am looking at weekly ad's and comparing prices and deals. If I can get buy one get one on chicken or fish I will take up the offer even if I have 5 more servings of chicken. That has been one way to help my spending. I also like to go to grocery stores for families with limited income I like to call cheap grocery stores such as aldi, or savealot.  I can get spinah leaves for $1.17. Walmart has $2 ground turkey by Jennie-o. Surprisingly target always has eggs, 90 second Uncle Bens brown rice, and starkist tuna in olive oil for the lowest prices in my area. I have a limited budget but anywhere I can save Ill accept the deal. There's no need for whole foods or fresh market when you are a full time student living on your own!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I like to prepare my meals on sunday but if I have time another time during the week I wont second guess it. I will be found in the kitchen! This is what my competition suit looks like.&lt;br /&gt;My hair is different and so is my body. &amp;amp; I am in desperate need of a tan!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;HELLLOOOOO everyone!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I've decided that it could be beneficial to those of you who are interested in my journey to competing in the NPC Bikini Competition at the 2011 Jax Physique Show in FL. I have never been so excited or pushed my self as hard as I have been and about to be with in the remaining 7.5 weeks until Im on stage proving hard works pay off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't expect to win for this being my first show &amp;amp; I under stand it is a learning experience.&lt;br /&gt;I have began my diet. Its not to lose weight but limit bad foods that I have been eating and make me even more dedicated to my goal. I would love to eventually get my IFBB Bikini Pro card but for now competing and just dipping my feet in the water is fine with me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have my diet in line &amp;amp; I am currently filming the next couple days to give you an idea what I eat through out the day and when and what not. It is extremely hard to manage my time with my diet since I am going to school 16 hours a week, and work at a nice restaurant 5 days of the week leaving me only limited time to study eat work out and have me time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have moved out of my parent so living on my own and managing my house is always top priority but it's nice that I can wake up and Im not fighting over who uses the treadmill early in the morning since I have 3 cardio machines within a 1 minute walk to the clubhouse if the treadmill or elliptical are occupied I can always go back to my apartment grab my bike or just go run the humongous park across the street. It's right on the water so I like to settle for that when I do have the time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best motivation for me right now is compare myself to the pro's compare diets, work outs, and Im beginning to have the urge to buy a new bikini for competition! I have one but maybe I can get you guys' advice on if i should add anything to it or keep it how it is.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My favorite IFBB Pro Bikini is Alison Rosen, I admire her physique and dedication to the sport. She is highly motivating and also very kind. In the morning while I'm checking my twitter I always like to visit her page and see early morning cardio to remind myself that hard work pays off even if it is at 6 am and that's the only time I have. Life has just recently gotten extremely crazy.&lt;br /&gt;It is officially the first week of summer for me. I bought a 2006 eclipse GS&lt;br /&gt;in pearl white. Im getting the car dropped off today! I am so excited,&lt;br /&gt;it is my second car since my barbie jeep is going to my sister who&lt;br /&gt;just got her license.  I will be posting pics soon! :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have slacked terribly this week in the gym but I knew it would be&lt;br /&gt;difficult to fit it in this week so I spent two hours twice since I missed&lt;br /&gt;two days of the gym. So this morning I had my last final exam for spring 2010 semester. I feel so accomplished today since it was my first year in college! I hope that my gpa turns out pretty good so florida doesn't drop my scholarship. anyyyywayyyysss, after i took my exam at 10, I headed out to the beach to visit my girlfriend at our friends' jet ski rental. I didnt pay attention to how long I was in the sun for so I took home with me a nice sunburn. I ended up going to the gym and going light on my legs since I had trouble sleeping with my legs acting like I had restless leg syndrome last night. At least I got 11 hours of sleep! Afterwards, my sister and I dropped by winghouse to make my schedule then stopped at target. I decided to film my april favorites &amp;amp; started to edit it. Tomorrow should be a hectic day since I took off this week for work so I can focus on my final exams.
